Integrated restoration project of

architecture, structures, interior design, systems of technical installation.

Opened in 1972, 5 Juillet Stadium is part of the Olympic complex Mohamed-Boudiaf and with its name it pays tribute to the date of the proclamation of the country’s independence. The structure, located in the heart of Algiers, has always hosted the finals of the Algerian Cup, the matches of the national football team, as well as major athletic events. The integrated project of FABRIS&PARTNERS studio includes the renovation of the sporting infrastructure rich in history in a broader framework of modernisation and extension, according to the current strategies and provisions which are in accordance with the highest international and FIFA standards. The purpose is to make the structure a new centre of life for the Algerian capital through the offer of sports, cultural and recreational experiences. The general improvement in the quality of the services will increase attraction, functionality and comfort. Outside the existing structure and architectural value are preserved and the original pillars interact with the new pillars supporting the new roof, giving an effect of continuity between past and future.
